Our Promise:
We commit to use only the highest grade ingredients available, to obtain our herbs from trusted sources only, to personally test our products, and to individually inspect and wrap each item prior to offering to others. Each item is hand made in small batches to allow for the freshest and most natural of products as possible. Due to the nature of our products being small batched please expect that no two items will look exactly alike and that there can be slight variances in color and textures per batch.

Our Story
After many years of dealing with skin allergies, inflammations, and even life-threatening reactions to certain products, I became much more aware of what I was using on my skin. Once I started researching specific ingredients I vowed to try to figure out a more natural and healthy approach as the possible effects from some of these ingredients far outweighed any potential benefit.
I started making soaps and bath salts which opened the door to many other skin products that I wanted to make “more natural” with less chemicals, phthalates, and parabens. I have always loved lotions, balms, scrubs, and oils- basically anything I could use to try to pamper and enhance my skin!
After several years of making and testing different products I feel confident enough in them that I wanted to share with others. My commitment to you is that I only use herbs from our garden or from trusted sources, the highest grade ingredients available, and therapeutic essential oils as much as possible. There are times, due to certain recipes, where fragrances or necessary chemicals are added (such as preservatives or emulsifiers) but these are all listed with each product to make you, the consumer, aware.

When I started this business I knew I wanted to continue to honor my Mom’s legacy of giving. My commitment to donation is in her memory, and a way to honor our beloved rescue furbabies: Timber, Sydney, Maggie, Mollie, Nikki, and Rey. A portion of each sale is donated to one of three animal rescues who are very dear to me: All 4’s Animal Rescue, Sadie’s Horse Haven, and Soft Landings of Tennessee. All of these rescues were created and are run by three women whom I have the utmost respect for. Thanks to them countless animals are saved every day.
As Joaquin Phoenix, the actor, once said “ It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.”

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR NAME:
The name “Phoenix Pharms” is very deliberate. I have always loved the meaning behind the mythical bird, the Phoenix. The Phoenix symbolizes rebirth, transformation, and hope. The Phoenix is believed to be able to “rise” from the ashes- to “rebirth” or “transform” under the most dire of circumstances. The Phoenix is about the “balance” of both positive and negative energies within ourselves (the light and the dark) and teaches us that, even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for new beginnings (light). The Phoenix bird is seen as powerful, resilient, and strong.
The “Pharms” part of the name is in recognition of my belief in the strength of herbs and natural products as a healing agent. Many ancient cultures relied on the strength of herbal remedies to cure or aid in health and beauty promotion. For many years I have been an active herb garden hobbyist who loves nothing more than to grow beautiful herbs that can be used both medicinally as well as culinary. I am very specific in what I grow and the reasons for each growth. Many of the herbs used in our products have been grown, harvested, dried, and infused by myself. I hope to continue my education in herbalism and to improve and expand on our current herb garden to provide as many natural options as possible to our products.
